At Neffsville Veterinary Clinic we are a small animal practice that takes a great deal of pride in providing the highest level of care to your family pets.  Our dedicated staff includes six doctors and since 1977 has continually earned accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).
Only 15% of all veterinary hospitals across the United State earn this coveted accreditation.  We are voluntarily evaluated in the areas of examination, dentistry, medical records, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, anesthesiology, surgery and nursing care in order to meet AAHA’s continually upgraded standards of care and professionalism.

History

In 1970, Dr. Russell Nyland founded Neffsville Veterinary Clinic (NVC) at its current location with the construction of a 2,400-square-foot facility. Even then, NVC has been a family business, with his wife, Shirley, as his sole staff. Two years later, Dr. Nyland’s brother, Dr. George Nyland, joined NVC.

Since then, NVC has continued to expand with the addition of five outstanding doctors, 45 compassionate, skilled employees and 12,000 square feet of clinic space that holds seven exam rooms, a dental procedure suite, pet resort, a boutique and reception area. Striving to continually bring the leading edge of advanced animal care to patients, NVC introduced laser surgery which allows for less pain, reduced risk of infection and a quicker recovery time in 2008.

As NVC looks to the future, we are excited to continue our history of exemplary care and dedication to you and your pets.
